A Stage 1 Quadrajet starts with a complete disassembly of the hand selected core, cleaning and inspection procedure. The casting plugs are sealed with epoxy to prevent leak-down into the intake manifold. All circuits are checked for proper sizing and the calibration is checked for proper jets, primary metering rods and secondary metering rods. The carburetor is then reassembled using the highest quality components with a new float, choke pull-off and bronze bushed throttle shafts.
Replaces factory unit for 1966-1973 GMC and Chevrolet passenger cars or light trucks with 305/350 c.i. engines with divorced style choke. This Carburetor is NOT intended for engines with RV/Performance type Camshafts or Headers
A Stage 2 has all of the features of a Stage 1 plus features fully recalibrated idle, off idle, main, accelerator pump and high speed circuits to match any modifications done to the engine such as intake manifold, headers, ignition or mild cam change. A Stage 2 features improved idle quality, instant throttle response and maximum torque and horsepower for street-strip vehicles, tow vehicles, RV's and watercraft with modified engines.

A Stage 3 Quadrajet is intended for serious street-strip and race applications such a circle track and NHRA stock and super stock classes. An oversized .135 needle and seat assembly is the start to this fully modified race piece. Main well size is increased and balanced to assure proper top end, high RPM fuel flow. Extensive circuit modifications are performed to keep the fuel curve correct throughout the RPM range, to obtain clean idle quality and instant off the line response for consistent race winning performance.
