A Stage 1 Quadrajet starts with a complete disassembly of the hand selected core, cleaning and inspection procedure. A Stage 3 Quadrajet is intended for serious street-strip and race applications such a circle track and NHRA stock and super stock classes. An oversized .149 needle and seat assembly is the start to this fully modified race piece. Main well size is increased and balanced to assure proper top end, high RPM fuel flow. Extensive circuit modifications are performed to keep the fuel curve correct throughout the RPM range, to obtain clean idle quality and instant off the line response for consistent race winning performance.
